What I Eat In A Day | Dairy & Gluten Free Edition

Food for thought

Breakfast:

Before I decided to completely cut out both dairy and gluten, I’ve always appreciated a bowl of cereal accompanied by a piece of fruit, (typically banana).
Although finding alternatives that suit specific dietary requirements deem challenging, your stomach will thank you for it, (I know mine does).

For cereal nowadays I’m really enjoying the GoFree honey flakes by Nestle, (due to the honey they aren’t vegan) but super tasty nonetheless.
Once finished I will munch my banana (on the go or I’ll be late for work) and complete my meal with both water and the Naked Green Machine.

NOTE-this meal lasts approximately 3-4 hours, anything past that and my stomach growls for nourishment.

Lunch:

Seeing that I work 4 days a week, (and attend University on the remaining days) I tend to have the same lunch to make it easier for me.
Luckily I’m at home today, and there just-so-happens to be left over dinner, specifically spaghetti bolognese.

Alongside with my main I devoured a bunch of sable grapes and a Kind dark-chocolate peanut bar, (fantastic for protein).
Regarding drinks I will either have a glass of water or a smoothie made from the previous day.

Dinner:

Dinner constantly changes, Christopher and I follow a weekly meal plan but one dish in particular always makes the cut.
Quick, simple and nutritious our favourite chicken wraps find their way to the table.

I don’t follow a specific recipe, I simply purchase gluten free wraps (Warburtons), chicken, red pepper, garlic, onion and top it off with mayonnaise.
I will have up to 2 wraps, washing it down with either juice or water.

Desert:

Again depends if I can be bothered to whip something up, this week has been super hectic so I headed into my local supermarket and purchased the FreeFrom Jam tarts.
DELICIOUS.
I was stunned at how scrumptious they tasted; even Chris loved them! (Who is a dairy queen).

Snacks:

If you are like me and get intimidated by a large meal, you may snack throughout the day, not to replace meals but to carry you.
I’m the type of person that will eat the majority of my dinner, and come back hours later … Cold, even better right?

  • Selection of nuts (cashew, peanuts, almonds)
  • Selection of fruits (grapes, kiwi, oranges)
  • Green&Blacks Velvet Mint Chocolate

I hope you discovered interesting ideas, nonetheless you’ve found out bizarre eating habits I’ve obtained over the years.
Have a wonderful day and I will see you very soon!
